Hugely compelling, and concise, McKinsey article here on 'Why leadership-development programs fail'
We've all seen this happen, most people now know it happens, yet huge amounts of money are still spent on development programs that have no context, are decoupled from real work, ignore the entrenched mindsets of participants, and fail to measure results. Looks like far too many leadership development programs are still implemented because someone is just wanting to tick a box to say they've done something?
